07 May Maryss Berengaria- black filly foal with national champion bloodlines to make 16.1hh plus
We are sadly thinking of selling the beautiful Berengaria as we hope to have 5 mares in foal to our stallions, all foaling next year. But we are tempted to keep her as a ridden dressage/show prospect then broodmare due to her fantastic bloodlines, temperament & elegant looks.
Berry was born in early January at the Maryss Stud in Somerset. And came to us with her dam Maryss Regalia, who is to be one of our foundations PRE mares & we are extremely pleased to have been given the oppurtunity to have such a special mare at our stud.
Berry is a smart foal who is bold & trainable as her breeding would suggest.
The Maryss stud have bred many national champions as well as a host of wonderful performance horses, so Berry should make her new owner a great horse, as she has fantastic breeding to go with her elegant looks, paces & she has such a great attitude.
Berrys dam is Maryss Regalia who is by the top class PRE sire, Donado who was very successful in dressage but also the show ring & Regalias dam is the national champion mare & movement champion, Maryss Amalia who is also the dam of 2 supreme national champions, a movement champion & a ridden national champion, as well as many performance horses.
Berrys sire is Camino XI a smokey black who carries the cream gene so she could make a useful addition to any stud who is interested in breeding the more unusual colours, as she carries these genes & he has already sired some good riding horses & graded stallion Maryss Warlock, who has been retained by Maryss Stud.
Berry should make 16.1hh plus as is already a tall foal, not looking that small next to her dam who is 16.1hh.
Berry is fully passported with ANCCE & BAPSH & microchipped. & had her first flu & tet innoculation.
She is well handled & halter trained, loves people & just a really lovely foal, having been born in winter she has been stabled & rugged but currently out while the weather is nice!
Please feel free to contact me to ask for any information on this lovely filly & I will try & get some better photos as these ones dont do her justice!
We are looking for a fantastic home for this special filly, otherwise we are happy to keep her, her price is no reflection of her quality & breeding but because we are after a super home & she will make the right person very happy.
We could potentially offer youngstock livery for her while she grows up, although she is our only foal this year, so would go, once weaned with an Aunty & last years foals (only 6 months between them).
Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the beautiful Berry.
