Official Sponsorship Information

Thank you for your interest in sponsorship of the GBPRE National Championship Show. The show is held at the Internationally acclaimed venue of Hartpury College in Gloucestershire over 3 days in mid/end July each year (Friday, Saturday & Sunday), with horses arriving on from the Thursday ready for showing and dressage classes on the Friday morning. The event is classified as Authorised by ANCCE, run under their Rules and Regulations with an ANCCE approved Spanish judge flown over for the duration of the ANCCE show dates. We also have acclaimed Affiliated Judges for all of the other classes during the weekend.

The show is open to all PRE’s with the requisite British Registration and encompasses all four of the UK Stud Book Registers; Purebred Spanish horses, Partbred Spanish Horses, Horses of Spanish type, Hispano Arabe (Spanish x Arabian) plus other invited Foreign Breeds – including the new Fusion breeds and Lusitano which ensures an approximate entry level of around 200 plus horses and approximately 1000 visitors and competitors during the Show. The Show covers most aspects of horsemanship including in hand showing, dressage, show jumping, versatility, Spanish/
English tack and costume classes and a Grand Parade.

The show also hosts the ANCCE affiliated COPA dressage league classes, which are qualifiers for the Spanish International Show, SICAB, in November. The show is advertised in various Regional publications, along with the GBPRE magazine and website. In addition, we offer a profile for sponsors on the GBPRE website for a period prior to, during, and after the Show has taken place, as per package details (see opposite).

Attendance figures and entries for the past 10 years, whilst the show was previously organized and run by BAPSH Limited, have risen year on year. This culminated in around 200 plus horses and 1000 plus competitors/spectators during the last 2-3 shows, based on combined daily numbers.

Please refer to the links opposite for more information explaining the different Classes and how they are judged. We hope that you will find this of interest as the show will follow the Spanish judging process. This is a format which is unfamiliar to many people.
